Yes - we will provide you with everything you need to get in the water - including a warm wetsuit, helmet and buoyancy jacket. And the kitesurfing gear of course!
You need to be a confident water user and you have to able to swim. We teach students with different fitness levels and as much as being fit helps a lot then rest assured - you will get much fitter when you will start kiting!
Kitesurfing is completely dependent on the weather conditions. If you have booked a lesson and on the day it turns out that there's either no wind or it's too windy, we will run the course on the closest suitable date with decent conditions. Alternatively we might need go to a beach with better wind conditions - you can always share a ride with us!
IKO stands for International Kitesurfing Organisation, a world-wide recognised body setting standards of teaching in the kiteboarding industry. All our instructors are trained, examined and certified by the IKO. This way you can rest assured you are being taught in a way approved by the world's leading kitesurfing instructors and examiners.
Yes, at the end of your course you will received an IKO certification corresponding to your level of kitesurfing skills. The IKO certification will allow you to rent equipment all around the world. Also, you can always come back to us to certify you to a higher level when you will up your game!
