Kitesurfing Lessons in Troon
Troon has one of the best teaching and kitesurfing beaches to offer - Barassie. It works in the prevailing westerly winds in Scotland and it's by far one of our favourite teaching spots. It works on all tide levels, however you should be more careful on high tide as there's little beach left. As for hazards - you should watch out for an old sewage pipe close to the harbour's wall and the rocks on the opposite side of the beach. Otherwise, it's a nice and shallow kitesurfing spot and in winds from South-West through to North-West it's safe to practice for newcomers.
