Kitesurfing Weekender, Scotland

Legends tell of people all across the land displaying their prowess on the water. Some jumping high in the air, others performing acrobatic tricks and those who race across and above the water’s surface. We sometimes hear tales of those who are the highest, the most technical and the fastest, but which area could hold the accolade as having the ultimate team… we’ve never known, but that’s about to change.

Sand’s of Luce Surf Weekenders Brings you ‘Battle of the Clan’s’. Over the weekend 20-22nd April we will see what area comes out on top when they combine their might and clash on the shores of Luce Bay. Teams from across the UK and beyond are invited to form clans and submit them for battle on the water. Clan leaders will choose thier best boosters, tricksters and racers to do battle and score points for their Clan. When the sun sets we will see not who, but what region takes home the honour as having the ultimate team of water warriors.

When the battle is done join us for a Ceilidh like no other. Raise a glass and toast the victors and celebrate what will undoubtedly be a great weekend on the water! The brilliant ‘Life O’Reilly’ will be providing a sound track of traditional Scottish and Irish music.

Our kitesurfing weekender will include:

  • Kitesurfing jumping competition between clans made up of kitesurfer from different parts of Scotland… and the UK!
  • Kitesurfing clinics covering: freestyle, strapless surfing, hydrofoiling… and boosting big jumps!
  • Taster sessions on the beach for those thinking of trying kitesurfing
  • Lots of amazing food, music and like-minded people

It’s a community and family-focused event and everyone’s invited! So put the date of 20-22 April into your diary, book yourself either one of the luxury caravans or a camping spot at Sands of Luce Holiday Park and let’s have some amazing time together!
